How to Upgrade Your Software (using Thunder Page as an
example):
Note: If you do not have Windows Vista or Windows 7, you can
skip to Upgrading
Your Software with the WIS Upgrade Manager. If the process
fails, you may have to take similar steps as shown below.
For Windows Vista (and perhaps Windows 7),
you'll need to perform the following steps prior to upgrading the software:
Step 1. Open Windows Explorer and go to C:\Program
Files\Thunder Page\ and right click on the folder.
Step 2. Click on Properties

Step 3. Click the tab labeled "Security".

Step 4. Click "Edit".
Step 5. Select "Users".
Step 6. Check the Allow Full Control box.

Step 7. Click "Apply".
Step 8. Click "OK" and close the window.
1. Download and install the WIS
UPGRADE MANAGER HERE. This version was update 1/23/10, so
if you've previously installed the Upgrade Manager, you'll
need to uninstall the older version first.
2. Download the Thunder
Page Upgrade File here and save it to your hard drive -
links to other software updates are found elsewhere.
3. Make sure Thunder Page is closed before continuing.
4. Start the WIS Upgrade Manager.
5. Browse to and click on the Upgrade File.
6.
Browse to and click on the program file.
7. That's it, you're done. If you run into problems with the
newer version, the Upgrade Manager will allow you to reverse the
upgrade process. Just read the Help File.
